One day I got a call from my neighbor. “Do you ever do work on commission?”
His nephew was in town for his daughter’s birthday celebration and happened to see some of my needle felted sculptures. He asked me if I could do sculptures of the mascots for Tufts and Bryn Mawr Universities. Happily, I told him.
When I finished the sculptures, I asked another neighbor if she could knit some caps and scarves.
Once they were finished it was hard to ship them off. I wanted to keep them!
